Episode 205: Devotion
Editor: Bre BoswellReleased: 30 July 2022Kronos escapes. Hades still sleeps, and his scars actively bleed. Kronos threatens to “dispose of him” and Persephone steps in front of him. Vines grow from her back as she screams, “Don’t touch him!”
Titan-sized, Kronos moves forward to grab Persephone but Zeus appears in the middle, impaled on one of his father’s fingers. He asks Persephone to tell Hades that he’s sorry before electrocuting Kronos with his power. That diversion only distracts Kronos for a moment, so Persephone throws the wedding ring at him and runs away, to get him away from Hades.
Kronos chases her deeper into Tartarus. She reaches for the pomegranate on the tree, but he grabs her first, squeezing and nearly swallowing her. He taunts and demeans her as she struggles.
“I’ve learnt a new trick. Which means you’ll spend your existence reliving your worst nightmares over and over again.”

A flash appears and Athena and Ares descend. Athena stabs Kronos in the neck while Ares helps Persephone escape his clutches and get to the tree. Persephone picks the pomegranate, splits it open, and eats it while it drips glowing ichor.
As Ares and Athena continue battling Kronos, Persephone falls from the cliff. The siblings appear heartbroken. Moments later, a bright glowing figure emerges, titan-sized from the abyss. It’s Persephone, transformed into her Dread Queen persona, a crown, black gown, and glowing bident.
She determines her goal - get Kronos to leave Hades’ body. First, she needs to distract him. She returns and sweet talks him, leading him outside to play their “favorite” game - hide and seek. She hastily constructs a hedge maze to trap and confuse him instead. Seeing the maze from higher in the building, Morpheus and Zeus rush to find her. Persephone instructs Zeus to watch Kronos-Hades and keep him distracted while she asks Morpheus to help guide her in the dreamworld. Morpheus warns an interloper may try to distract her, but Persephone is determined to find Hades and wake him.
She awakens somewhere new, wearing a stunning gown and halo-like headdress.
